New website? Finally?! Yes...

So, it's true... the new website has finally launched. It's been in the works for what seems an eternity... It's not completely done yet, there are always kinks to be worked out, but it's up and running, and looks great (we think) and is ready to be used and abused.

So, what's new on the site? First off, the way orders are placed is all new. In order to place an order, you need to create a user account. With this account, you will be able to log in to the site, place orders, upload artwork, check order status, etc. etc. Also, all of the templates have been upgraded and updated. Check out the templates here.

To create a user account, just click here, and fill out the appropriate fields. It's really quite simple. Then to place an order, just navigate to the item you're looking to order on the site, then click the "Order Now!" link at the bottom of the page. After your order is placed, you will be able to upload artwork via a Flash based uploader right on the site, or you can use an FTP application to connect to our FTP and upload the artwork that way... whatever makes you happy. ;)

So, that's it for now. The new site... In the future, look for a new ordering system, which will allow you to price items, and place orders, all by using a sweet "wizard" style form... Should be lovely...

2010... the year we make contact...

Soon, very soon... quite soon.... Imprint will be launching a new website. A new website with lots of new features, new design, new options, new offers, new, new, new... Sometimes though, life gets in the way of living, and work gets in the way of working. We've been keeping quite busy working on some really great projects, and putting final touches on the new site, complete with customer login, etc. etc.

All that said, (and since it is 2010) be sure to check out our new 10" jacket offerings. We have a folder option and a pocket option, just like our 7" jackets. They're quite nice, and everyone knows that 10" records are badass. We're also printing 10" center labels now, for your 10" vinyl goodness... Hop to it!

In other news, I picked up a Krooked Zip Zinger late last year, and have been doing a little skating... Good times. What have you been up to lately?

The Facebook, new website design, etc.

Yes, Imprint is on The Facebook... and you can find Imprint on The Facebook here. I hope you'll come over, become a fan, join in a discussion, post a pic of yourself and your awesome CD project, LP jacket, 7" jacket, and so on and so forth...

Also, Imprint is hard at work on a complete website redesign, as well as a new ordering process complete with customer login for order tracking, up to the minute information, etc. Keep an eye out for that in the coming month...

In other news, Brad and Bryan are going to see The Decemberists tonight. Should be good fun. If you're going to be there, let a brother know...

Up and running...

The new press is in place, and running like a champ. Print is looking better than ever, and coming off fast and steady. Big love to Hamada-guru Dave, for all his zen-like guidance and direction. As the backlog of orders comes off, and new orders take their place, we're excited about 2009 and all the goodness it hopes to bring.

Another new piece of equipment is on a truck, and heading towards Imprint HQ.... more information on that, as we near its arrival.

In other news, Bob Mould, of Hüsker Dü fame, has a new record out... I've been listening to it, and trying to get a feel for it. Bob is great, saw him play a few years ago here in Sarasota. Also looking ever so forward to the new Sonic Youth record, gonna be doing the Buy Early Get Now deal through Matador Records myself, maybe you should give it a shot?

Hard to believe it's May already...

A lot is happening over here at Imprint, and we're busier than ever working on some really cool projects for really good folk. Thanks so much!

LP jackets are hot hot hot right now. We have some great deals on LP jackets, so don't be afraid to head over and check out our pricing...

In other news, I just got 2 extra GB of RAM in my computer, so now I'm rocking 4 gb's and loving it. Doubling my RAM really helped pep up my machine.

Just saw Iron Man last night. I recommend it. Good fun.

Also, Brandon, Bryan and I have already picked up copies of GTA IV (for Xbox) and are really enjoying the game thus far. It's a huge game, and there's a lot to do and see... I haven't tried out the online play yet, but Brandon and Bryan have, and they had good things to say about it.

Oh yeah, we got a USB record player in the house now, and Walt ripped some of my old vinyl for me. Slovenly and Treacherous Jaywalkers... Great old SST/New Alliance Records bands... Nice to have those tunes on my iPod now for some quality listening time.

Baby, It's Cold Outside... An Extravaganza!

The time is near... A tradition that began more than a few years ago is expanding into something even more beautiful. It started out with my fascination of the song 'Baby, It's Cold Outside' by Dean Martin... Then it evolved into repeated listenings of said tune... Then it expanded into days of only listening to 'Baby, It's Cold Outside'... Now it's come to this...

The 12 Business Days of 'Baby, It's Cold Outside' by Dean Martin.

The 12 Business Days of 'Baby, It's Cold Outside' will begin Thursday, December 6, 2007. Starting on that day we will begin a festivity of epic proportions... The song will be repeated ad nauseum in the office, and will be our exclusive telephone hold music. At one time our goal was to listen to this song 666 times in a row (because doing things 666 times is funny, right?)... Now it's simply about The 12 Business Days of 'Baby, It's Cold Outside'.

Fest 6, good times had by all...

Big thanks to Var and everyone at No Idea/The Fest... Though we only spent one night in Gainesville, we had a great time and look forward to next year...

Radon had the everyone at The Venue bouncing off the walls! Youth Brigade wondered what was with the beards, and fans of the band were happy to see them again... Naked Raygun (the highlight of the night for me) didn't disappoint.. playing great tunes from all over their vast catalog...

Brandon and Bryan made it over to check out Baroness, and returned with a glowing review...

We had some good eats, some good laughs, and only a few near death experiences...

Keep an eye out next year, as Imprint is making plans for a bigger presence at The Fest 7, with possible giveaways, an all new CD compilation, and more?! You'll just have to wait and see!

Fest 6, Gainesville, FL • October 26-28, 2007

The Fest 6 is upon us.

Imprint is packing the wagon and heading north! A night filled with Naked Raygun, Baroness, Planes Mistaken for Stars, and others is on the itinerary... Looking forward to meeting a lot of great people, and having some laughs while we're at it.

We just finished work on a sampler disc in conjunction with No Idea Records, and the final result is pretty cool. Lots of great bands, and you get a copy free with your registration at The Fest!!
